Bill Jarrard of Jarrard, Nowell & Russell Appointed to SCACPA Committee and Task Force

Charleston, S.C. – William H. Jarrard of Jarrard, Nowell & Russell, LLC, a Charleston-based accounting and business advisory firm, has been appointed to the South Carolina Association of Certified Public Accountants’ Professional Relations Task Force and its Memberships and Benefits Committee. His term, which began on January 1, 2009, is for one year.

A certified public accountant and principal of Jarrard, Nowell & Russell, Jarrard has experience working with a “Big Four” accounting firm and with Fortune 500 level corporations. Prior to forming Jarrard, Nowell & Russell, Jarrard served as chief financial officer for Young Pecan Company, the world’s largest producer of pecans, and prior to that, he served as vice president and controller at Charleston-based Cameron & Barkley.

Jarrard, who earned his master’s degree in professional accountancy from Clemson University and his bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of South Carolina, is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). He has served on the finance committee for the Charleston Metro Chamber of Commerce and is a past recipient of the Charleston Regional Business Journal’s Forty Under 40 award.
