ASCEND Foundation Names Christopher Nowell to Board

Charleston, S.C. – Christopher Nowell of Charleston-based accounting and business advisory firm Jarrard, Nowell & Russell, LLC, has been named to the board of directors for the ASCEND Foundation. A certified public accountant and business consultant, Nowell has over 25 years experience in corporate financial management.

Prior to forming Jarrard, Nowell & Russell, Nowell served as treasurer for Cameron & Barkley Company and later worked for Hagemeyer North American Inc., in the capacity of vice president of North American Treasury. A graduate of Clemson University, he is a resident of Summerville.

The vision of the ASCEND Foundation is to ensure that the voice of those touched by cancer is heard.
