Christopher C. Nowell, CPA Principal Drawing on significant experience in the corporate financial management and public accounting arena, Chris Nowell specializes in providing financial advisory and business evaluation services to companies in ownership transition and subsequent business exchanges. He also has negotiated, valued, and performed due diligence on numerous acquisitions in a variety of industries. Prior to forming Jarrard, Nowell & Russell, LLC, Nowell worked with both domestic and international companies managing a wide range of activities including mergers and acquisitions, corporate tax compliance and planning, cash flow management, debt covenant negotiation, corporate risk management, employee benefit management and business development. Nowell’s experience with businesses in transition focuses on assistance with financing and the assessment of traditional or alternative financing methods. Nowell served as treasurer for Cameron & Barkley Company and later worked for Hagemeyer North American, Inc., in the capacity of vice president of North American Treasury. Nowell also is experienced in public accounting through firms in both Charleston and Clemson, South Carolina. He has been a featured speaker at events sponsored by EuroFinance, the Association for Financial Professionals (AFP), and the Charleston Trident Association of Realtors. Nowell earned a bachelor of science degree in accounting from Clemson University and is a certified public accountant. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the South Carolina Association of Certified Public Accountants (SCACPA). He also is an active member of his community, serving as treasurer for The Charleston Stage Company and advisor for Dock Street Theatre.
